Paint tools for mesh, instance distribution in layout.

For distribution of mesh, instances, etc.

This has been in 3dmax for a long time for painting on deformed mesh, etc. Would be great to have in layout natively to distribute intances, etc more precisely.

Thanks for the video, did you make an official Fogbugz request for what you'd like to see?

Yes looks nice but a bit too pricey. Max had this in v9 from scriptspot.com. Its native since they added polyboost.

Layout not modeller painting linked to layout. Its easy and more precise to paint in camera like the video. Request modeller camera?
The video also shows items loaded in a scene can be included in a list that will be used randomly while painting like the old veggipaint plugin.

Yes please, Ivé been ranting about spraying of instances too in various threads, though I havenīt done any FogBugz request.
Ever since vue implemented itīs ecosystem spray tools, and then testing some spraying of houdini L-systems ..I have been wanting this.

Though hurleyworks advanced placement might be nice, I donīt like the idea of getting that feature only in expensive third party plugin, even though it will be capabable of much more, it also looks a little too complex dealing with and have to resort too dynamics to get it to work.

There's a bunch of these paint tools that disappeared or lacked support later on. Its time to have it natively atleast in its simplest form.
Third party shouldn't have to worry. If their product is good and offers more, then people who are willing to pay for it will pay for it.
