Best file export settings in AVID for import into 3play 4800

Just wondering if anyone can give me details of the best export settings for a clip edited on AVID to be imported into the 3play.

This would be useful to pass on to clients who want to use the 3play as a playout device for their inserts in an outside broadcast.

3Play 4800 records directly into Quicktime 4:2:2 format. If they are running Media Composer 5.x or 7.x then you can just export that directly (use the "Same as Source" export setting) and no conversion is needed.

If the are running Media Composer 6.x, there is a bug in this version that will cause problems with importing Quicktime 4:2:2 files. Best answer is to upgrade to Media Composer 7 (really!), but if that isn't possible, you will need export that out in another format. I would go with Quicktime/MJPEG in this case.
