Hypervoxel & Transpaent Objet Problem need help?

I have a plane with a texture and a transparent map applied to it but when I add a Hypevoxel for added gas cloud look the transparent areas show up. What can I do to fix this? Raytrace Trans is turned on and ray recursion is turned to 8 but still nothing.

Is your refraction index for the plane set to 1.0?

I noticed you were using a volmetric light instead of a Hypervoxel. I need it to appear more like a slightly falttened sphere instead of a perfect sphere thats why I used a hypervoxel to use the Y strech direction. Is there a way to flatten out a volumetric light? Using hypervoxels gives my transparent texture map black areas where it should be transparent.

I actually JUST had this problem as well, I got around it by adding a black and white alpha image matte to the clip map of plane object properties.

you could try and add a previous layer gradient over the image in the transparency channel.

    Sorry that won´t work.
    clip map gradient perhaps.

or process the image in photoshop and make it a png with transparency perhaps.
