    Tricaster sound AD/DA

Had a sound tech feeding our 455 with sound from a really nice studio and he did something that made the audio sound like crap.

He had really nice equipment and asked some questions about the DA in the Tricaster.

Would you hear the difference beteen 96khz and 128khz 24 bit chip in the Tricaster?

Not to be all picky, but can you qualify/quantify some of this a little better.
What does sound like crap mean?
Was this analog audio, AES, SDI?
Most people would not even notice the difference between 48k and 96k, but the settings between units can make weird things happen.

Tricaster 455 doesn't have digital audio input (AES). It has analog inputs and audio embed from sdi (digital). So it is not the word clock problem.
Internally, Tricaster 455 is 96 kHz and processing is 32 bit floating point. The DA is 24 bit.
