    Weight Map Deformations

    Hello!

So i'm in the process of making a small piece of land and I was wondering if there is any way to do weight map deformations in Layout. Here is how it looks like subpatched , wireframe , and in weight shade. What i'm basically trying to do is make the middle part of the landscape rocky looking since i'm going to put water on top of it. I thought about trying the node editor or something of that nature but i've never really messed with it before. Thanks in advance!

Yes, you would use the weight map as an alpha to control what gets deformed.

I needed something similar before and I use (32bits only but the result can be used later in the 64 version) the weightpaint tool to get a better control
