Parts aren't included in Mesh info,
so part generation is polygon based (connected polys)
    just follows polygon indexation.

    In case of Modeler cloning,
part index is the clone index.

If a part is 'cut and pasted' in Modeler
it goes logically at the end of the part list
    with the last index.

    THANKS, Denis.

So, at least theoretically, it should be possible to order the parts in a way that users might find useful, like "right to left" or "top to bottom".

A routine that would SELECT CONNECTED in a directional manner, Copy or Cut, and then Paste into a work layer, would do it.

    Like:
    Select Left-most
    Select Connected
    Cut
    Change to work layer
    Paste
    Change Back to source layer
    Repeat until no more parts

Would create an object that would be part-indexed left to right.

Yes but as a Modeler task, may be tedious for many parts,
    for parts' evenly spaced'
the Position output from Part Info node may be used too.
