Angry AutoLoad backdrop images when loading geometry into modeler

It's rather a PITA to find and load the reference backdrops for a mesh when you are modeling. (Especially since the file isn't defaultily saved to the Content Directory.)

It SURE would be NICE if, when one loaded an object into Modeler, one had the option of allowing Modeler to go ahead and load the backdrops relevant to the object.

The old IFF general format allowed new "chunks" to be added to a file type: surely the path to the backdrop.cfg could be saved inside the .LWO file somehow.

(Seriously, this should be a TOTAL doddle.)

+1 (or even a separate .cfg file being saved in the same folder as the object with the same name that gets autoloaded - so we dont have to change the object or worry about cleaning the object of modeling needs when distributing it. But a cfg file as you say in the same folder being detected and then autoloading backdrops would be good. I find modelling cars or big mechanical objects which require lots of pics and take several sessions to do a pain when this happens as you say...

That's the thing that chaps my @ss: when you go to save a "Backdrop File", rather than being directed to the CONTENT DIRECTORY, you're taken off to the config directory, usually, although it seems to change w/the phases of the moon.

THANKS, NewTek, for making that maximally inconvenient.

Perfect example of "bugs/design failures that get ignored".
