IPad app is out from NewTek. WooHoo

If you haven't downloaded it, you should. It's FREE. Nacho's app has a few more features but if you dont need all that this new app from NewTek works pretty well. Took literally seconds to download and have operational. Now if I can only figure out how to make it go landscape I would be set.

It sure does look good on my iPad but won't be able to test till later today/tomorrow. And it seems to only go portrait because of the VU meters. Guess we can start working on feature request right

Excellent! This is a perfect companion control surface for the traditional 855 interface. Love it.

All we need now is an app that will allow us to switch the tricaster.

OK so after testing the NewTek audio mixer app, I give it a thumbs up! It works great and with no perceivable delay even when I move the faders quickly.
TIP: If you plan on using Presets with the APP, please enable them on the TriCaster first. If no preset is generated on TriCaster, the APP presets will not function.

That said, would not mind landscape view and also would be really great if it gave me feedback in the form on vibrate, when the fader hit the 0 mark. Another thing is the pan tool makes hitting even balance tricky. I like the blue bar to the left but in my opinion, it presently displays the bar in the wrong direction. The bar is full to the left on even balance but becomes longer as I pan to the right. This makes setting even balance quite tricky. I would prefer the bar is not visible when when its set to even and then progressively expand from center to the left or right depending on which way I want to pan it. This would make setting even balance a breeze.

Appreciate the feedback - may I suggest adding feature requests to that forum, though (makes 'em easier to find when needed). Thanks!

The official answer would run something along the lines of "We have no plans to announce in this regard at this time" ...

Can we get an option to manually specify a tricaster IP for this?
