Baking bone animation into the mesh

    Hello guys

This is my very first thread. I've had an issue for a long time, I've asked multiple people and nobody seems to have an answer for this. This is the issue:

I need to export an animated character I created in Lightwave (it's a basic walkcycle) to Realflow but the SD exporter doesn't allow any bones (and it's animations) to be exported. I already tried the Md Baker and Md Reader and they actually bake the bone animation into the mesh, the problem is that when I check the grahp editor there are not any animation curves (which is understandable considering that the .mdd file contains the animation information) although the object is animated and when I use again the SD exporter to take it to Realflow, it doesn't move at all.

Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this? I'll deeply appreciate it
    Regards

    DAVID RODRIGUEZ

P.S. I also tried the MF Motion Baker plugin and it didn't worked either.

Is the problem with the exporter or just baking the animation in Layout?

I guess the problem is with the SD Exporter. It probably doesn't understand the animation generated by the .mdd file
I also tried the fbx exporter, but it has the same issue as the SD exporter plugin

Well mdd files are deformation data on the mesh, not bone/skeleton rotation data. This part of your post confuses me. Sounds like you just want a baked non-ik skeleton with data on every frame. Correct?

My rig has IK set to it, but I do want to bake the data in every single frame. Like I told you before the problem doesn't seem to be with the mdd file, because it is actually working, the problem should be related to SD exporter plugin from RealFlow.
BTW thank you for answering this post
