Tricaster Studio saving video to disk

We've tested saving video to disk and it "looks" like the mpeg2 format will create a huge file. Just a few minutes of recording and the file was nearly a gig and our sports games last at least and hour.

Saving as flash creates a smaller file but the f4v format isn't supported by any of our editors.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks

newer tricasters allow H.264 HD high quality recording. A 3 hour football game is only 24 Gig.

Does the Tricaster Studio have that capability or just the higher end versions?

I didn't see that I'm my "save" options.

SD-only TriCasters do not provide H.264 or Quicktime recording formats.
