Exclamation Speed Modeling Challenge #185 - Rowing Boat.

Speed Modeling Challenge #185 - Rowing Boat.
    *************************************************

    Rules:

    1. Every week there will be a subject for you to model along with a time limit. You should spend no longer than the allocated time, then post a render of your model. As in most challenges like this, your honesty on modeling times is essential. How you interpret the brief is up to you as long as the final model conforms to what is asked for.
    2. Post a wire-frame and a render at 800x600 or larger.
    3. LightWave must be used for modeling. 3rd party Plug-ins are allowed.
    4. You can enter as many times as you like, posting each in this thread. If you run over the time, the model can still be posted but won't be subject to the judging.
    5. Time spent on texturing, setting up a scene for a render and rendering is not included in the allocated period.
    6. The winner is judged by the challenge starter and the prize is to set up the challenge after next week's .
    *************************************************

This week's topic: Row, row, row your boat, Gently down the stream. Belt off, trousers down, Isn't life a scream. I'll accept any type of rowing boat, inflatable, raft etc. Also in any condition, so If you only manage the front half in the time then call it a wreck! Good luck.

    Time limit: 60 minutes

    Deadline: Wednesday, 22 August 2012, 22:00 G.M.T

    Did the days get changed?

    Thanks Rudy
I think it was around 10 minutes over, it was just one of those days full of constant distraction that make keeping an eye on how much time has passed rather difficult

@Richard, couldn't get your head in the game eh? Oh yeah I can see it's so substandard Nice one

@Rabbitpenny, that's great think you might retry with something similar? I have on occasion made a second attempt... although it hasn't always worked out.

Great stuff guys. Richard, the transparency on your water is perfect!

Under an hour for mine. I just made it in flat panels and used bend/taper/shear etc.

    @Iain - that's a beautiful render.

Richard - if that's you without your head in the game, then god help us all when it is.

What I meant by that was that I lost track of the time.
But its my Birthday so I hope ye can forgive my communication difficulties

Here are some possible background plates for boat renders. All from my own photos, feel free to use them in any way apart from reselling them.
There are more if anyone wants them
