    I am trying to figure out where i set the object / material / surface value between 1 and 99 ?

    Are you referring to something other than the Surface Editor?

    He might be talking about the Surface ID buffer.

    That'd be.... potentially... interesting to know. Academically, since I've never used that buffer.

    Thanks guys , yeah im trying to figure out the edge toon tracer on the unreal xtreme 2 plugin . it says something about group id linked to which object / surface its going to trace but i cant get it to work properly ...

    You might need to start a thread with Unreal xtreme in the subject line to get the right attention. It's been about 7 years since I've used that particular tool, so I can't be of much help. I sort of remember doing all that stuff within the unreal plugin.
