Smile Free: Universal Pie Chart scene template

Attached please find a universal pie-chart template scene.

It may not be much for the more accomplished users here, but I received a lot of help from forum members in constructing this scene, notably Bryan Phillips, and this is the kind of bread-and-butter scene that is handy to have a template for.

To make more pie sections use CLONE HIERARCHY on the Mover nulls to preserve the setup. You'll need to edit the Displacement Network to point at the newly cloned rotation handle, otherwise all the pies will use the same handle null. (This scene requires DPKit.)

Note that cloning will not update the nulls' Item Shape labels-- they will all say the same thing until you edit them.

I hope the scene is relatively self-explanatory. I animated a clone separately so you can see how everything works.

About the fact that the pie Surface is the same: ummmmmm, you'll have to deal with that yourself. Perhaps a nodal network could use the item ID to differentiate between the two instances of the pie. (If someone figures that out, please post the solution here.)

Thanks Swampy, but 99% of the credit goes to Bryan Phillips.

I actually figured out (!!!) a clone coloring solution using DPKit. See this thread:
