If I parent a kinematic object to a null, it no longer has any effect on rigid objects. Unparent, and everything works normally. This is true even if the object is parented to the null before applying Bullet.

Is this normal behavior, and does anyone know of any workarounds?

Actually, I did discover one not-so-great workaround: Model a small object where the null would be, as part of the kinematic object. But this only works for simple stuff, like rotation, since normal LW hierarchy is apparently broken with Bullet (?)
