    Amleto Network Renderer

Latest version of Amleto is now available to download.

You can find it here: http://virtualcoder.co.uk/amleto/

    New in version 3.1.0

    • Render settings are no taken from the scene file and no longer changed by Amleto unless specified
    • When adding a new project, the output folder will be checked and existing frames will be skipped
    • Server now shows the elapsed render time and an estimated time to finish
    • Serveral bug fixes and tweaks to the code.

    Manual will be updated soon.

Any problems or requests, feel free to get in touch.

    Well done, Sir...

Thank you for the effort Steve. Sounds like a welcome set of features, I hope to use. I will download and try it later, but wanted to immediately let you know that this is a valuable contribution to the community. Best to you.

    Thanks for the update Darklight.
This build has an error I think. I uninstalled previous version then rebuild the directory however amleto keeps rebuilding config files of different lightwave installations into the same directory.
For example previously I had isolated config folders for
    Mainconfig - lw96 32bit
    Lw_10 - lw10 32bit
    Lightwave64_Fprime - lw96 64bit using wsn

Now whenever I switch the render nodes to different configs it keeps downloading the config files and copying them outside of those folders marked in red. The config folder marked in red now contains Mainconfig,Lw_10,Lightwave64_Fprime configs so rendering doesn't work anymore because its all mixed up.

Edit. Ok found the problem, user error. Uninstall amleto from nodes not just the server pc.

I read in the previous Thread about Amleto and exrTrader support!? I get no Render Buffer output Files with my Test exrTrader Scene (trying using PassPort+exrTrader).

Does it work in version 3.1.0 with this Plugin, or with special path setup in exrTrader only?

Sorry, that's not yet fixed in Amleto. I don't have exr trader so it's a tricky issue. If you want to send me the .lws file you are using i will try to add support. PM me and i will send you my e-mail address

Yep, free and awesome! Steve is doing a fine job, and with the implementation of simply loading the scene files as they are, it should work with LW11 too!
