That's.... incredible. Really well done. Great CG and compositing and - most importantly - a great script with solid acting and drama. The things missing from the prequels.

It's like Star Wars directed by Ridley Scott - which is high praise, I hope!

Aside from the light sabers, I didn't get Star Wars out of that at all! Sci-fi, sure. Throw in some Alien and some Assassin's Creed, and maybe even some Guyver and Starcraft. But Star Wars?

Now have seen Part0 from your link. Is there a 1080P HD version of part 1 anywhere with English subs?

I felt like I was watching a technomage story in the Babylon 5 universe that included a lightsaber fight from Star Wars.

There's another movie though that starts with explanation, about this being many centuries after the defeat of the empire. So really, it isn't Star Wars as we know it, but it is that universe still ...

Worked for me - great stuff.

Certainly was pretty. Some ropey bits of compositing, but we are all guilty of the that. Me especially.

I agree it didn't feel all that starwarsy. And, I know I'll get lynched for this, but Jedi's are boring. Too many lightsabers nullify how cool they are.

Lets get some smuggling action in a fan film with blasters and stuff. Awesome fire fights and some character.

Might be asking a bit much...

Wow, have to watch the older one, too (Vol. 1)

Great stuff. Give me that over a prequel any day ..

Two additional things put it above most fan productions:

    - Good looking, confident cast members
    - Italian always sounds serious

One small crit - if there was any more bloom we could not make out their faces ..
