    Problem with UV Mapping

    Hey guys so Im having an issue with my UV mapping for my object. Im trying to make a UV map of the texture it has on it, so im goin to make the map then surface bake it but my UV texture keeps getting long lines across it. ill show u a picture. and when I surface bake it, it has long black lines across it. any idea on how to fix this problem?

    It looks like you got polys that are shearing across your UV.

    Unwelding your polys and then do the cleanup in the UV window by moving your offending points to where they should be.

    If you do a search in your Edit Menu or Edit Keyboard Shortcuts for "unweld" it should tell you where it's located. On my system the keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + U.
