    Here's an update: Turntable.MP4

Phonems for Oooo and Eeee... Also, when the mouth is not centered, the nose bends accordingly. I am getting more daring and sophisticated with my expressions on this project.

    More to come.

I dont know, it's like she's smiling, but doesn't want to or is afraid to smile.

Nice range of movement. Very organic flow. Really like the asymmetry.

Sync looks off. I think some of her open mouth poses are too extreme and you're missing hitting some of the obvious sounds.

The synch may be off a bit.. I'm still tweaking it. But I'll bet that if the tongue was animated you wouldn't perceive those obvious sounds as being missed.

I personally rarely ever animate the tongue. You only ever really see the tongue with an obvious "L" sound. When someone is talking their mouth isn't open so much that you can even see the interior of the mouth that often. IMHO if you can mix your "ah", "ee", "oh" and "oo" shapes properly you can get the majority of the lip sync done. One thing that helps too is when you hit an obvious sound hold that pose for a couple of frames. Don't have it stick but cushion into or through that sound. This way it's obvious to the viewer that you're hitting your poses. Too often people's lip sync looks too flappy cuz they animate through too many poses too quickly. Another trick is once you're done with the animation is to slide the timing to be a couple of frame early.

It's better. I still think the open mouth pose is too extreme. It's actually pretty difficult to talk if you're opening your mouth that wide. She looks like she's trying to eat a foot high hoagie versus just talking and flowing through the words. You can actually talk pretty well without moving your mouth so a super broad range of motion isn't necessary. The other thing that comes to mind is that you have an attractive female character. So you're probably going to want to have lip sync that is more subtle and elegant. The broad motions you have going on make her look a bit intimidating.

Her lip sync is kinda slow. Meaning you're missing in-betweens and more poses. For example on the word "Hungary" it looks like you have the "Ah" - "Ee" poses. But to make this animation effective you need "Ah" - "N" - "Ah" - "Oo" - "Ee".
