    Greeble problem

I am building a starship that will be fairly greebled. Although I am having trouble with finding a non tedious way of doing it.

The greeble plugin and quadpanels are not working for me. Most of the polygons on my ship are slanted. So the plugings are slanting the greebles as well, I want them to be straight. I know I can cut up the polys to form more squares but the sides will always be triangles.

Its very painfull to place greebles manually. Feels more like labor than being an artist. If anyone has any other way of doing it, please help!
