    Thanks, I will give that a try....but....

So nothing on the headphone out? I assumed that would be where it was, but now that I think about it, probably not. Thanks for sending me into a new direction. Glad you were here, NewTek is snowed out.....wimps!
We have had a srtorm a week since Christmas....some as much as two feet.

I will get back if I still have an issue...Thanks

I can't say about Headphones, didn't try it - but normally, phones mirror the master output, so I'd have expected that to work. Maybe someone else can check, I can't just at the moment. (If it doesn't, please report it to Fogbugz.)

Audio on the XLRs but not the Phones jack...

    Hi Steve,

The audio out on the XLR connectors did contain the SpeedEdit Audio. But it does not appear on the Phones out where I had connected the monitor amp. I will go through the steps again and see if I am perhaps doing something worng with the mini-1/4" adapter but that should not really be the problem. It would be nice to have all the monitoring done through that phones out so I did not have to use the XLRs for monitoring.

More to follow, but for now I am editing and doing the clean up of the live session.

Thanks for sending me in the new direction. Some times logic does not always prevail.

    SE audio on headphones out

Well I just checked and I have audio out of the headphone jack with my 850 Speed Edit.
SO this must not be a universal bug for everyone.

    Audio found....

Well, another check of the Phones jack after a restart did find audio there. So , perhaps something reset itself, although I would assume that is all hardware in that path. But thanks for all your help and comments. It seems one less mystery to be worried about unless this becomes a recurring on and off again issue.

Logic did tell me it should be there in the beginning. And happy to know it really is. A few more restarts will confirm that there is not a problem with the audio flow.
