    Sound in Mp4

I've searched Google but can't figure out how to fix this.

When I bring in MP4 files I get no sound.

I thought this may be a AAC issue, so I went into preferences and enabled AAC decoding.

    This didn't help.

ALSO, I installed the Speededit codec pack. This also didn't help.

Previously I've been converting my MP4's to MP3's and syncing the files. However, the file I'm dealing with now is 2 hours long, and too long to be "easily" converted.

matching up wav files is about the only reprieve I've found in that case. (I render to .wav instead of mp3 but same process)

What makes that particular file too long to be converted?

Is this allyour mp4 files or just particular ones?

you may want to install the 'ffdshow tryouts' codec package. It might loosen up a few h264 files.

    1) I've generally been using ZamZar to convert, but that limits me to 100MB. This is 1.2 GB.

    2) If I could find a good program to convert, it would be okay. It's just that I'm assuming it would take some time to render out a 2 hour wave/MP3 file

So far, all of them. Even if I render them from SE, I can't use that file.

Okay, I'll give that a try.
