    64 bit mode

    Hi

There may be an obvious answer to this but I can't find it, so i was hoping someone could tell me.

I have a new 64 bit Mac but Modeler and Layout always run in 32 bit mode.

I know there is a 32 bit mode check box in the info window for both Modeler and Layout but they are both uncheck. Even with this unchecked the title bar till says (Mac32).

I was thinking I must have a 64 bit version otherwise my would the check box exist.

    Thanks

    Hi,
LightWave 9.6 Mac still is a 32-bit application.
There is an OpenBeta of 9.6.1 Mac UB, which is a 64-bit cocoa Mac version, scheduled for release at the end of 2010 or beginning 2011.
It will be a free update for all registered owners of LW 9.x.

If you don't mind using Beta software, you can join the OpenBeta by registering in your NewTek account's homepage.
