    Animated LiveSets

Hey guys. Thanks for being who u guys are. Your posts have been very helpful in the past. I am a newbie live set creator using aura. I see on www.virtualset.com there are animated livesets. I was wondering if there was a way to create an animated liveset so that that elements are already already animated without using either of the inputs. I am using VT5.

If you mean camera motion that's strictly an XD function. If you are talking about the animation embedded into the set that can be done with either platform by mapping different parts of the B Source to different parts of the set. This is most easily done by using a file in the DDR but we have clients that we have done sets for that use an external switcher or fx generator (or another Tricaster) to composite live footage and routed B Source animation. It's complicated, but it can be done.
