Just an FYI to everyone who still thinks the 850's aren't shipping... I got mine today. Just firing it up now. It was a long wait, but I assure you all, yours will show up soon!!!

    WooHoo! Christmas in October...who knew?

This puppy is simply extraordinary - everything that VT & TriCaster users have been asking for...and more.
Don't stream it - TriCast it!

You mean, it has custom DVE's? If so, will this feature be made available to the XD300 users?

No, it doesn't. This is clearly important, but still some ways off, sorry.

Everyone's needs differ, so its a subjective matter - but I can tell you that VSE will arrive first. There are other important projects in hand as well, but I'm not able to get into specifics. Suffice to say, though, we do appreciate the value of custom transitions.

    Brian,
congratulations on getting an 850. It must be nice to have the wait be finally over. I hope they are not starting in California and moving East! Hopefully the East coast will get a few too.

If they are going alphabetical, I'm a G. Not too far down the list.

My retailer said this month..."for sure"!! I hope he's right.

Again, happy someone posted on this thread that actually got one!
    Great!

    Thanks Myykk!!

I paired it with Live Text 2 & Time Warp(until I can afford 3play). So if anyone needs this setup from Sacramento to San Diego, I'm up and down the state all the time! Let me know, I travel.

I hope they start showing up on all the doorsteps that await them...

    Finally got mine!

I finally got my Tricaster 850 as well. Unfortunately, it was too late for the 5 events I had (actually, the reason I bought it). So, now I just play with it and can't wait for an event where I can put it into action!

    CSandy,
I'm like a kid on Halloween Night with a big empty bag and high expectations! Now where's that candy!?!

Just got 1 of 3 here at my workplace today (2 others are going to different locations). Can't wait to fire it up!

Just FYI, we ordered about a week before the actual shipping date in August. Considering all the pre-orders and such, that's not a bad timeframe, IMO.
