Can no longer save scene files to network drive

I am running LW 9.6 off of the network drive. The paths are set correctly to the content directory, yet all of a sudden when trying to save a scene, I get an error message "A backup copy of the existing scene file could not be created. Do you wish to continue?" When I attempt a "Save as", I receive a message "You do not have permission to save in this directory. See the administrator to obtain permission. Would you like to save in the MyDocuments folder instead?" Everything works fine when I save the scene file to a local folder, but no longer when I try to save to the network drive folder. Any ideas?

Make sure a drive has become disconnected. In their re-connect of the drive, did they permit sharing by network users?
Had this happen this past week: mapped drive again and couldn't save anything. Turned on file sharing and all was right once again.

It was indeed a Windows problem. In the sharing properties of the folder, "Allow network users to change my files" somehow became unchecked.

Sorry I didn't post sooner, but I had discovered this not too long after.
