    Trick for reflected light

Anyone have a nice trick for reflected light?

Lets say that I aim a spotlight into a mirror, and i want the light "flood" to continue from the mirror out in the room, like a flashlight.
Is there a "smart" way of doing so, without adding a lightsource behind the mirror?
The key is not radiosity, I want the actuall hotspot of the lightsource.

Could Kray and lightportal with "Enable Caustics Portal ", on the reseaving surface be the solution?

You'll have to set up a mirrored spotlight. I don't know of any software that renders caustics with a quality comparable to an actual light, except maybe Maxwell etc, but the render times are outrageous.
    Are my spline guides showing?
