    Documentary to Premiere

I recently finished a documentary for the Lyon County Historical Society. (and yes it was a paying gig)

I shot it and edited with SE 1.55. It's kind of Ken Burns style with a lot of moves on old photographs. The graph editor in the Control Tree made it easy and fast to set up a move. I'm really looking forward to using SE 2 on the next project.

Attached is a copy of the movie poster. The premiere is April 16. If you're in the area, drop in. I plan to head to the nearest local pub to hoist a few after the show. (I'm guessing Natasha's.)

    Thanks for the invite.

For those of us who don't live in that neck of the woods and who'd like to enjoy your work, will you be including us by posting the documentary online?

    Thanks Shabazzy,

Once the "premiere" date has come and gone I plan on posting it on my website.

That's funny, I didn't read this post for about 2 weeks because I thought Premiere in the title was the Adobe software & Documentary to Premiere sounded like a cross-platform export.

    Theater Documentary Cut with SpeedEdit

Didn't even dawn on me I was using a dirty word. Should have titled it "Documentary Cut with SpeedEdit"!

Well, this is the first time I've come across software-ism. I've met my first software-ist.

Joe was awarded Edius Emeritis for his distinguished editing ability. He was glad that he remembered to shave with his SpeedRazor before he left his Adobe home that morning.

I've seen this story in the Media 100 times before. But normally I just see it posted on a Flyer. I guess what happens After affects us all.

Blast from the past . .

Once the Wavefront came ashore, Joe decided it was time for a new Alias which would give him more of a SoftImage.
