Damn, i had that exact idea, i was actually going to model a concept model...
very cool keyboard imo, that is more what Commodore should have done.

(edit, my idea was a big touchpad instead of an lcd)

but it's good to see that someone still tries to keep the amiga alive. Those who had one remember it forever. I had an amiga 500 and then a 1200 with some accelarator card with 20Mb of ram.

May be this guys can play another time with Amiga feels.

They (and others) abandoned to all Amiga users to their luck with a great machine live.

They never returned behind the view and now they come in with a pc machine trying emule the AmigaOS.

No dedicated chipset, no preemptive multitask, is portable but it is not an Amiga computer in all.

    Commodore leave to the beach!

    Cool My c= needs...

If it doesn't have the C= Logo with the colored stripes exactly as it was it's no deal for me. The card reader needs a cartridge port for my fastload, that way my DVD and harddrive would run 4x faster. Screw HDMI where is my composite output port, I need a use for my old TV.

No dedicated chipset? How come? I mean... every PC today have dedicated chipsets for I/O, Sound and Graphics, they usually happen to be PCI/AGP/PCIe cards though.

With that said, this machine will have a locked down standard though (the onboard GFX and soundchip, for example). So, in a sense, it reasembles what the Amiga HW offered in this sense (a locked down standard). If anything, it can become a standard machine within the PC Demoscene (most likely not though).

I really like the design of the machine... very Amiga-like and neat!

I already have a laptop with quadrofx, hidef audio and other gadgets with Amigaforever intalled into with ADPro and Morph plus and I never mind to say that it is a Amiga-like computer architecture.

However I agree with you, by the way of this is a Amiga design inspired.

the good old amiga days. i spent so much time playing games on my amiga 500 back then. i even coded using amos pro. later, i bought an amiga 4000 and it had lightwave v5.0 installed. that's how i initially got into using lightwave. spec settings were low / medium / high only. how it's grown since then.
i am currently trying to finish a game i coded in 1988. i was determined to make a game back then, but pc took over and become popular. i reluctantly stopped using amiga.
i am now using a basic language for my pc, and using lightwave to make graphics. i am trying to modernise a platformer game that i didn't finish, for fun.
