    But as has been stated before, most dealers will allow you to return SE for a full refund if not satisfied. Still kind of a demo - at least its no risk.

    I sure would like to be able to try it, version 2, that is. Why? Because I bought SE 1.0 and I have never used it because of it's poor handling of DVCPRO HD footage...

    I still want to use this software, even if that means that I have to pay for an upgrade...but this time a want to make sure it's going to work fine for me.

    I'm pretty sure you can just upgrade your SE 1.0 and you'll have DVCPro HD support.
    I think that came with 1.2. We use DVCPro HD most of the time.
    What camera are you shooting on? We have two Panasonic HVX 200's.
