The new shipping version of 3Play has a bios reset switch on the back. Apparently during shipping, or packing/unpacking one of mine was hit. Hitting this switch will cause the 3Play to not boot and show a " No Operating System " message.
I called tech, and they were aware of the issue, and told me to go into the bios, and "Switch the boot priority back to booting off the C drive." Well... I went into boot order ( hit DEL during boot ), and the options are a single SATA drive, a non-existent external drive, and an equally non-existent CD drive. I then hit F8 which brought up a different boot screen, that this time showed 2 SATA drives. Unfortunately, selecting either of these yielded the same result.
I totally understand that messing with the bios would cause boot issues, but the answer from tech " change the boot order" wasn't quite enough info for me to be able to fix the thing.
Has anyone else seen this? Can anyone offer a bit better description on how to fix it?
Thanks
