Trouble importing ZBrush uv map to LW via ZWave

I'm trying to import a uv map from a .obj file created in ZBrush using the ZWave plugin but the map comes in messed up (see attached image). The uv map looks fine on the .obj file. Does anyone have any ideas how copy the uv map over properly? Thanks!

I don't know how Zwave works (and actually never even heard of it before), but you might try unwelding your object before importing the UVs. You should be able to merge them back afterward without causing that problem.
Lightwave is kinda weird with UVs...

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that and will try it. In trying to track down the problem I have noticed that the point order in the .obj file is different than the point order in the original .lwo. This might account for the problem I'm encountering but I'm not sure how to fix or "remap" the point order of an .obj file to the source .lwo file.

Here you go, you might find an answer in this rather recent thread:

    UV and Point Order Stuff

There are some links in there to various plugins and some discussion on how to use them.
