If this is a joke it's like "The Office" boss humor: No one asked for it, no one is laughing.
If true, best of luck, for LW and Tricaster users. :/
I don't think things are literal when it comes to GPU and CPU, you also have to consider other parameters that impact workflows, for example, biased or unbiased sampling.
Octane offer is on the...
Pretty sure one can do this with LScript. Not sure about interactiveness.
OP's goal if you read the thread.
Was a bit of an abstract idea although driven by the desire to have the polygons of the sphere to be as squarish as possible, be similar to each other and at the...
Indeed.
took me a while :D

Also one thing is to delete someones replies another the opening post that deletes other people's replies and sometimes valuable information.
Fire a feature request.
There's no point to change anything in this case. Keeping UI to degrees and data to radians is fine.
Deuce just had to drop either an Angle node there. And I would do the whole setup differently....

As for 2018... Is vector displacement is a thing in 2018?
I'm more of an hard edge marking guy, Myagi, but very nice implementation!
Thanks Raymond. I tried to send it to the email address lw-features(at)newtek.com but it failed. I'll file through login then :)
Cheers
I've seen this sort of arrangement to pick up in Houdini and Nuke. That's how I got into Houdini before buying Indie, by using Apprentice.
Personally I would like to continue LightWave to problem...
Input module has Polygon side, which is either 0 or 1 depending on the side of a double sided mesh. Use that on a Mixer or Material Switch.

Let me know what you think.

That's why I said this:
You can't expect the morph amount in the displacement to drive the morph amount in the surface, unless you explicit connect them with a modifier or something like that.
...
Here's a scene:
You have to go nodal.
You can use the length of the morph vectors themselves to drive a mask for the wrinkles at the same time they are added to the mesh positions.
The problem I see here...
Darn edit limit, got two "Onto the topic." there... erg :P
I'm considering doing a wiki in the future with algorithms.
It would be really nice though if LW nodes could:

Yeah, my videos don't explain this particular problem, but some of the pieces to solve it are there.

Hi.
I'm relieved to see 2018 released since I was wondering the worse up to the announcement. May the new features be used to produce great outputs, may the structural changes promote a more...

Yeah this could be fully texture solution if I bothered to cook a position texture instead of using the polygons you see in OGL, but can't be bothered :)
