What's the report number?
Are your sconces 'shell' geometry, ie, just single sided?
Hi Terry, if I understand the question correctly, what I meant was simply the format can record an agent moving backwards, or strafing, for example, in both those cases the velocity doesn't align...
Can you forward a formal feature request for this so it goes into our feature database please? I think it's a good idea.
That is a sensible idea though. Newbies can have valid input too.
One way to look at the results is that people WANT better export for game engines so they CAN use LW for gaming more.
Also, a lot of archviz is now done using game engines, it's quite a thriving...
This sort of thing is perfect, we can't fix it if we don't know about it!
Is there a bug report on this issue?
It sounds like you'd have some great ideas on how those tools could be improved, we're always open to feature requests and constructive suggestions!
This is the first time we've gathered the data in a structured way, we're not surprised that Blender is used as a companion modeler, but that nearly a full quarter of people use it alongside Modeler...
Hi everyone,
As part of our efforts to improve the Modeler package, we recently published a survey to get an informed sense of our demographics. The reason we chose a survey was it gives us more...
Try copy pasting only those parts of your model where you want agents to land, and use that object as an arrive director. Turn it off for rendering of course if you don't want to see it.
Possibly, can you please post a screenshot of what you're trying to accomplish, suitable annotated?
Ah yes, this was by design. The positions are calculated, then a smoothing algorithm is run over them, then rotation is calculated based on the smoothed path. This is to stop small jiggles in the...
Can you write *explicit* steps into a Fogbugz report please so we can replicate and fix it?
Thanks!
Thank you!
Thanks for the video, did you make an official Fogbugz request for what you'd like to see?
There are issues with scale, if your objects are too small it can miss, try scaling up by 1000% apply HS then scale back down... it's a known issue being worked on.
Weight maps? Normally associated with meshes... how would you see that used for a particle simulation???
Excellent, thanks!
Have you filed this as a Fogbugz report?
Hey everyone, this has been fixed for the next maintenance release.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on how you came to your decision, and it's always nice to see users from Australia on here!
Save the cache inside the content directory structure somewhere and it should be found correctly. If there are still issues, put in a fogbugz report asap so we can fix it!
You have to copy your object and manually offset the animation a few times, then add each copy to your instance generator, no way to automate the offset at the moment.
It's been reported a few times, it *has* been fixed and will be in the next maintenance release, which has been planned and is currently having bug-fixes added to it, I can't say when that will be...
