sweet!
I really like the wider lens in comparison to other cameras in their price range. The NDI image quality looks really good. The SDI output is better though. That is nature of the beast. Given the...
Of course Kane but doesn’t the outputting device have to have that capability? These Panasonic cameras has next to none control parameters over the NDI output. You can’t log into it from a...
Also been using these cameras for a while now. One thing that kicked us in the butt this week was trying to pull too many NDI sources off the cameras. 1 you are good, 2 you might be ok, 3 you are...
Nothing in OpenGear. Magewell has a throwdown adapter that does 6G to NDI. BirdDog has true 12G units on the horizon but looking like December for release.
You are not the only person working through this on network design and implementation. One of our clients is using a similar number of VLans and is seeing similar results.
Which switches and...
Its a LiveStream Studio issue. We see the same thing in our events where we mix TriCasters and Studio setups.
Great Job fulfilling a demand/need.
Sony X70 cameras work perfectly with Sparks.
I use one of these for keeping people from touching ours....

Depending on how large your venue is and the camera zoom you need, I have some robotic heads with AJA RovoCam 4k box cameras on them that would work great. These are not all in one PTZ cameras but...
I am not sure where you got the information that you need a 10gb switch to do 4 NDI inputs. A single gigabit line can handle 4 NDI streams.
Our productions frequently use 12-14 live NDI streams...
That Novastar will scale. That is its main purpose in life.
It will take some fiddling in the input configuration but the power is all there.
I seriously doubt the video board is truly 4K. I own LED boards and install them too. To reach a 4K resolution would mean an absolutely massive board at a very small pixel spacing density. ...
Thanks for the follow up Steve.
I know you guys are not finished. I definitely get that. The issue with our clients is this change is a major change in their workflow and without them getting...
I have been reading around and hearing lots of dissension regarding the PTZ tab removal in the latest update. Sometimes change is necessary to achieve the big picture and long term goal. That...
So let me get this straight, you are telling your client NOT to buy the TriCaster that is going to keep getting updated and improved? Maybe I lost it in the translation. I just do not understand. ...
Which Cat5-Fiber converters are you using? I have a feeling they are gigabit only like some TPLinks are. Sparks are not gigabit only 10/100. Try a dumb autoswitching gigabit switch between the...
I just read this from your post.
Do you have a Gigabit network link from building to building? or are you trying to do all this over the internet as you typed above?
I have no idea what gear you actually have and what you are planning to buy.
I have reservations about the PreSonus StudioLive and Dante. Their implementation of Dante is only half way there. I...
We use and have deployed Dante solutions with TriCasters for several years now. Be glad to help steer you in the right direction. You are sort of there but I see a couple holes that need plugging.
Go Dante and never look back. We have many many of the Atterotech UnDIO 2x2 and 4 input boxes sold and deployed. Great solution to add more inputs anywhere your network is.
If you are using that many channels with Dante then you need a proper sound console. Yamaha CL series, Soundcraft Vi, or a Digico SD11B . Of course with a Dante input card on any of those. Yamaha...
Yes. It definitely works. Pretty cool stuff. Love having one control interface that can trigger multiple devices.
