I'm not sure if 7 would open 32 bit files, but otherwise , it should work fine.
You'll also get strange results if you save as 24 bit, because photoshop will use part of it as an alpha channel.

Viruses (viri?) are written to disable the popular antivirus programs all the time.

CS5 Extended has extensive 3D tools available & this is pretty easy to do, but it's pricey & the standard version doesn't have that in it.
