does the TC410 not have the 4layer effect in its livesets as an option?
I see what you are trying to do. you want to add just an ME onto DSK to show all the GFX sources. thats not how this will work. the last layer on the M/E is going to need to be full video.
you are...
you can use the liveset '4 layer set' to create an M/E with 8 layers, all of them hold transparency.
you may need to re-enter an M/E as Layer D to do a dissolve from sources, and they you...
some people need to go to a source clean without the DSK, and get hungup on the macro code. what CG are you using?
correct. try just the main_background_take macro with a keyer delegated and you will see it does not take that keyer on/off with the take.
I would not use main_background_take or main_background_auto. these macros do not keep your keyer delegates active on the switch.
use main_take & main_auto for takes and dissolves on your PGM buss.
not sure but there should be!

for me its only one feature worthy of premium access. its not meant to stand on its own feet.
It is a new feature. I think it makes alot of sense to use .csv files to import/export and allow us to build and edit macros.
I can see the next step being able to make drop-down cell's with all...
has anyone tried exporting the macros to a .csv file and editing them and then re-importing?
would like to hear thoughts on this.
Also thinking about workflows dropping the file into a watch...
this isnt needed if Premium Access has been purchased correct?
in the newest version. this grab function is 'broken' in the aspect it no longer grabs the alpha channel. it should be bugged.
if you are grabbing a still, why not send it to a frame buffer instead of taking up a DDR?
I have a macro that takes the selected clip in DDR and sends it to either FrameBuffer1 or Framebuffer2,...
there should be a liveset folder named 'Default' or something to that effect with it.
macros & ME/Presets should work, although they will need to be re-exported as MEM files. but you would need to rebuild a session.
First: I manage several broadcast shows for our network. each with their own graphics package and elements, nothing unique i can 'share'. I have to manage something over 5000 elements for our...
I would just make a macro to build your sessions. no need to have 35 different sessions if you can just load settings via Macros and MEMs
I figured this out on the TC8000 using macros.
I made macro 'COPY: M/E1' with only one line of code. [Shortcut] v1_copy_to_previz
This macro is triggered using MACRO + Liveshot keypad 1
a...
can you build in previz using the CS Panel?
I actually do this now, but with macros loading the MEM into each M/E, it works okay. I want something if i build on the fly, i dont need to think about.
not sure if this exists on TC8000 yet or not. I do know it exists on VMC.
Can I have an effect setup in M/E 1 and copy it directly to M/E 2?
Id imagine this on the CS Surface by holding down...
i strongly support this feature.
I strongly support the decision to be able to independently shift to another bank on a different stripe.
