Maybe I missed it somewhere, but what are the key differences between the PTZ1 and PTZ2 cameras?

Thanks STP!
We are using NDI to feed them in, but wanted to see what others are doing. Always trying to reduce the number of outboard components whenever possible (while still maintaining enough...
Hi folks!
Just curious how you all are handling lower thirds for multi cam shots. Basically if you have three to four people on screen at once (like in a Zoom call), what are your best practices...
Great question.
We use the Dream Machine Pro at the studio and a Dream Machine in our portable rack, so we don't use any cloud keys.
I do believe it will work though, because we ran into an issue...
We are using one of these in our mobile system: https://store.ui.com/collections/routing-switching/products/usw-pro-24-poe
We have the 48 port / 600W version at our studio. Both work really well for...
Great work Stardancer! We have used your service for months and it is rock solid, even with as many as 18 camera feeds simultaneously.
Keep up the amazing work!!
On the Admin page (at least for Office 365), go to Teams to open the Teams admin page.
On the left side click Meetings, then select Meeting Policies.
Then click on "Global (Org-wide default)"...
Mark,
That screen shot is what the individual users need to adjust in their settings.
I will try to get the Admin view and show you a sample of the watermark sometime over the weekend.
Andrew
I had to turn it on as an admin first, then individual users had to turn it on in settings. I have not gotten all of the features to work yet. I got a feed from a remote participant, but my local...
James, have you tried in Vegas 17?
I wonder if it is something in V18 causing this?
Andrew
Good news - You can now use NDI with teams.
Bad News - If you thought the SKYPE watermark was big...Now they have the words "Microsoft Teams" on each video feed.
We are still messing around with...
James, I just tried this in Vegas 17 and it works perfectly.
Perhaps there in an issue with 18 or something is odd with your Studio Monitor settings.
Check the framerate of your incoming feed...
Thank you Will and Team!
+1 on this!
Thanks Kane.
Medialooks does use the computer name, but then within the computer name offers all of the named NDI streams for each camera feed. Almost like opening a folder to reveal all of the...
I know this can be somehow done, since we have had up to 8 NDI streams from a single computer using Medialooks - each with their own name. Made it super easy to deal with when assigning feeds to an...
I wonder if this has been addressed with the new Tricaster 2 series?
With one 1Gbit port and one 10Gbit port, maybe there are now routing options?
Thanks for the info Kane!
We will do more testing to 'bake them in' and see how things go.
I guess we are back to the days of having to let gear cool off before putting them back in the foam...
Thanks Daniel, great info.
I also see that the Tricaster 2 has a 10GB lan port along with the usual 1GB one. That will come in handy!
Time to upgrade our switch!
Your laptop might have a dedicated graphics card installed. Scan Converter will run with EITHER the chipset graphics (integrated) OR the graphics card. On modern laptops the dedicated graphics runs...
Very interested to know how much control the Live Call Connect feature gives you. Also, how close is it to the Teams/NDI integration MS was due to release this quarter.
It would be great to have the ability to name my NDI feed from Scan Converter. Right now, I need to rename my computer in order for it to be easy to find in my NDI feed list.
Thanks STP. that is great news.
Hopefully the Teams integration will offer a few more adjustment options. Not that hope is a strategy or anything... ;)
Is anyone beta-testing this feature? Is it working, but not released...or just an idea and still vaporware?
We were testing our new Spark Plus 4K units and they seem to get pretty warm when streaming.
We measured about 90 degrees when idle but it jumps to 107 when streaming. It is fairly hot to the touch...
