So if I have created an MDD file of an object deformation, and I apply it to an object using the MD Plug, can I not then move the object?

I was hoping that I could create 2-3 variations of this deformation, and then that I could apply this to several hundred clones of the object and reposition them throughout the scene, with independent rotations and position.............. it seem you can't do this. The MDD deformation will only play in the same cordinates of where it was created........

I hope that makes sense.

Is there a way to do what I am saying, or am I just dumb and don't know what I am doing here. :)

um, no idea, but what if you parent the objects to a null, does it make a difference?

No I tried that, it still doesn't work.
