View Full Version : FiberFX and Shift camera

I have a big problem:
for ArchiViz I need to use Shift Camera, so the walls at the edge of pic are vertical and doesn't "fall", and for the grass I think to use Fiber FX.
All seem to work ok in opengl, but in render FiberFX renders like the normal prospective camera. So the grass is "moved" respect to objects...it doesn't work with SHIFT Camera.
I tried SAS, but it has the same problem.
HdInstance2 works good, but for gras (little little fibers on all the land) it is slow slow slow... impossible to use for production.

I really need Fiber, but how can do a good render with Shift Camera?

Yes, I saw that, but do you see the time render? and the look is not the same... but ok for the look.... the vol.fib. vaste the render time... I hope can find other solution.

Sas is really more fast than fiber, but it has the same problem.

Sas was developed very early compared to the new Camera types, so it doesnt recognize them. Only Classic camera works 100% with Sas.

I agree, Volumetric Fibers is the way to go.
