I think the title of the thread says it all.
It's just that I need a little help in deciding weather (spelling?) I buy the Upgrade to LW9 + Vizcad + Core or stay with LW6 for some more months as it seams impossible to get the cheaper "stand alone upgrade".

LWcad has general tools to do or make just about anything. Great snapping. Super tools to repair geometry-(Cap Hole 2 and Fix Polygons 2). Great 2D Nurb drawing tools. It's not just for ArchViz!

A lot of people swear by it for modeling simply because of the snapping. I have LWCAD 2.5 but I don't use it often. And I don't use it for my everyday modeling but I probably should, just to get my money out of it.

Version 3 is amazing! User defined coordinates. User defined workplane. User defined "start parts".

Mostly for creating tubes and pipes, drawing splines and interactively adding a profile. The snapping tools are great for anything.
