Here's a tip to recover a crashing LW scene that includes Vue XStream elements.

If your lws file crashes almost immediately when you open it in LW then open it up in a plain-text editor (eg: ConText) and look for a line that looks something like the line below.

"C:/DOCUME~1/Tim/LOCALS~1/Temp/eon/574352567_347690540/1kAlMiG2.vue"

Take note of the location of the temporary .vue file and go and delete it then delete everything between the " marks in the above line.

Save your .lws file
Reboot your PC

Open your .lws file in LW and all is sweet.

It was the *only* way I could get this scene to load and not crash anymore.

Vue Xstream creates temp files whenever it crashes and saves references to those files in the .lws file. If the two get out of sync or the temp file is deleted and the reference to it is *not* deleted, then the .lws file will crash.

The above may not work for everyone but it worked for me on a scene which only included a procedural terrain (LW generated not Vue generated) and a Vue spectral atmos

This was using LW9.6 and VueXstream 7.4
