Hey folks, I know this should be really simple, but I'm having a heck of a time figuring it out. How do I put an image on the side of a box? The ultimate goal is to put video on a screen. Below are some screenshots of what I've done. It seems my biggest problem is that when the picture goes on the side of the box it is much lower resolution than the original, and square.

Thanks for the help!

Here's the view in Layout:

Here are my settings in Surface Editor:

And here's the settings in Texture Editor:

Finally, here's the original picture so you can see the size and resolution:

THANKS!!

Click Automatic Sizing.

Thanks. That helped, but as you can see below, I'm not getting the full resolution. Any more ideas?

That's the Layout view, you can change that in the display settings, if you render a frame it should look fine.

Try bringing it into layout and rendering it. Lots of times it looks a lot better rendered than it does in modeler.

Shoot! Daniel beat me to it, and I guess you already have it in layout.

If it still looks crap after rendering, try going back into modeller and scaling the box down to fit the graphic.
Then zoom the camera closer in Layout.

Unfortunately if that is the image your going to use and plan to zoom in on it, your going to need a higher resolution than you have.
