Thanks for th VHS and DVD. :D

well, I only came across LW properly on V.8 when we bought it for Flakester, and then I got on in the 9.x series really.

But still, interesting vids...!

I started using LW on v6 in 2000...ah memories :heart: lol

That's right around the time I started getting into Lightwave. Looks to me like that's Brad Peebler(former Lightwave Evangelist) in the second video. Thanks for posting, that's some cool stuff! :)

maybe its just me, but I think these examples look fine, even today.

Hell, I'd be happy if the students we have here turned out work like this with anything we have. haha

Totally agree! :thumbsup: I think that work in the demo still holds up to todays standards and that stuff was done with Ligthwave 6.0 and some of it probably even in 5.6.

I even learned a few things from that old NAB presentation that Mr Peebler did. I never really realized I could add noise to a channel in the graph editor to give the motion a random look, I guess it's just something I missed or overlooked all these years. :)

I can upload the original WMVs I encoded to upload to DaliyMotion if you want, so you can download them and then upload to YouTube?

They're quite large files.... let me know
