Is it me, or are the voices to silent compared to the music? But, great effort, well done!

yeah the mix was low on the whole and the dark parts were TOO dark...have to say it's probably the best made 'fan film' i've seen for along time though.

Looks like it might be pretty good for a fan effort. I will have to check it out. :)

Well I watched it and overall it was pretty good but the main thing that really made me cringe was the reused phrases and dialogue that was taken from the original movies. They really could have came up with a better more original script. The corny accents were very annoying most of the time and weren't done nearly as well as in the movies. I thought the overall look and and cinematography was done well.

I thought the CG was done well for a fan film and was passable. I thought the orcs were pretty convincing even though I did notice the makeup etc was not nearly as good or detailed as in the movies but dim lighting was cleverly used to hide most of that. I definitely felt like I was being taken back to middle earth again mostly due to the great locations chosen for filming it.

was filmed in wales [u.k] not new zealand...and suplemented with cg environments from Vue and tarragen

they spent 3000 on the production and had some professional actors in there giving their time for free which i think really helped with the result.

I just glanced at it so far, but wasn't able to get the HD version working. Is that intentional, or perhaps just temporary?
