I was looking for the text based tutorials on Newtek's site and all I found were the video tutorials.

Were they removed or just relocated?

Since this topic is already here. I was going to ask if anyone knew the best tutorial out there that can help someone completely new get a grasp of how Lightwave works. Like when I first learned 3D modeling, a tutorial on how to make a camera model always came up and really helped.

So I'm wondering if there's something similar for LW, not just, how to make a quick tennis ball, or football, something more complex, but simple enough to follow without leaving out important details.

There's so many videos out there, but where do I start?

Basic Training For lightwave9 by Class on demand is a great DVD, also Inside Lightwave9 (the book) by Dan Ablan is a must have extra disc with content and tutorials. Theres so much to lightwave its hard to have it all in a single dvd or book.

use firefox as a browser and get the download helper..itīs free, hereīs a link
but itīs a swedish page, do a simple search for download helper otherwise.

https://addons.mozilla.org/sv-SE/firefox/addon/3006

You could probably find the flash files also in the internet temp files and play them with vlc player, but not
always easy to find in the temp files.
