View Full Version : Max iteration for loops?

Anyone know if there is a max iteration count for loops in LScript? I'm attempting to parse some model files (writing a converter) and the only way I can think of doing it is by reading each line and searching for certain data. It works fine on small files, but seems that anything over ~350kb (in these files that is roughly 18,000 lines) crashes modeler.

There will be some limit for integers, but I'm sure it is more than 18,000.
Probably something else is going wrong.

Yeah 18,000 didn't seem right. Tested it out and it seems quite happy to plod along past 1,000,000. Must be the code then. It's all good, think I found another way of doing it anyway.

If you're caching something in an Array, this might be the culprit. LScript seems to have severe memory/stability problems with large Arrays.
