Wasn't really sure where to put this one, but here's a "sketch" I did in LW 9.6 over the last few weeks. Primarily it was to try yet again to get a feel for painting/texturing (mainly the jeans but worked on hair and top too). As usual these things seem to take on a life of its own and ended up re-modeling the hands and feet of my standard human base mesh as well as re-rigging the entire model.

Line work and minor hair adjustments done in Sketchbook Pro 2009. Texturing in Photoshop.

Looks cool. I especially like the definition in her right hand. Is there a belly button in there somewhere?

I like the strong outlines and the bra.
I used this tutorial for my own cartoon shading, would look good on this character also.

It's pretty easy to set up. Gives good result.

heh, I'll have to put a navel on the checklist of mesh alterations.

Oh yeah I saw this link earlier. I meant to ask how you do the fall-off shader pass the article mentions. What's the LW equivalent?

Ok I tried to answer my own question on this and wrote this blog article (http://www.propellerpunk.com/2009/05/inking-cel-shaded-images-in-lightwave-96/) about it.
