View Full Version : FiberFX - Surface Baking

Is there someway to bake the fiberfx finish to a UV surface. I love the look i have though it is overkill for some of my shots that i'm making andbecuase it is a little flakey (i haven't rendered a animation with it yet) i want to have the texture for long shots and maybe wrangle with it for the closeups.

I don't know about baking but you can render the ffx from your scene camera, then apply that render to the surface via front projection map. Natually it won't extend from the geometry but I'd think baking would be the same.
