It's very likely it won't as IKB is deeply entrenched into LW Classic. It employs hacks where the sdk hasn't allowed it to do things properly and it's poorly implemented with respect to modularisation. No doubt getting it into CORE would involve a total rewrite. And then they might just aswell make the extra effort to implement each feature separatly to give a much more flexible choice of workflow. You shouldn't have to start a specific tool to be able to cut and copy poses or set keyframing "mode". With IKB smashed to bits I don't know if could be called IKB anymore.

Supposedly the functionality will be in Core at some point but its going to probably be a long while before anything resembling the same functionality makes its way into core anytime soon. Sooner would definately be better.
Alot of plugins that are currently availabe in LW or 3rd party wont make it into core because many of those had to be hacked into LW.Core will be smashing the old LW to bits so it will be hard to say if Core will be LW or something else too...

The nice thing Ural is that 9.6 wont be going away anytime soon. :)
