Okay I am way excited for this one. Looks sweet. Nice and dark and grungy 3D animated film. A nice change from all the cutesy stuff.

I've always enjoyed projects with Tim Burton. Maybe by the time it comes out I'll actually have a job again and get to do things like go see movies. :D

That looks like it could be a cult classic. Love the sound track. It looks very SteamPunk-ish.

I saw the preview (in 3D, if I remember right) for this at Coraline, and it did look good. Nice style.

Tim Burton and Jennifer Connelly. Three great reasons to see 9.

Tim Burton is a producer. I'm not knocking his stuff it's great and very stylized, but I think this is all the Director, Shane Acker's doing.

My mistake, it's still a cool style, no?

If you like the trailer, check out Shane Acker's 10 minute short film that got Burton's attention in the first place. I saw this a few months ago - simply great!

Hopper: the tunes are from Coheed and Cambria - fantastic LW modeling music.

tim burton has always been my favorite director and film maker he has always put a real interest into the artists and has helped them improove. watching tim go from Vincent to Nightmare Before Christmas to Corpse Bride was a really great journey. I just hope he doesnt fall into the 3d pit like george lucas did. Its a real shame this movie seems to be "hollywooded" up a bit. The dude should be able to keep his directing position instead of being the "visionary director" its like they stole the look and feel of his short film and are using it to make money.

I really hope the dude uses the money he makes off this film to start his own projects that would be sublime.

EDIT: I forgot he had a hand in James and the giant peach also... Long live stop motion!

Interesting!

How can that little puppet made of what seems like a cloth, be the solution to our post destroid world?

Doesnt fits the usual hero persona at first look does it! Where did all the good looking heroes went?

Should check it out though!

I'm stunned!

Why haven't I heard of this before now? It looks absolutely amazing!

I'm glad that Burton isn't directing, he's very talented but I haven't liked any of his films for years, he seems to have lost something. I still think that Vincent is the best thing he's ever done.
